What does “diagnostic-compatible” mean?
These soft OLED assemblies are pre-configured so the device passes diagnostics without transplanting a donor IC . You install the screen and diagnostics run directly — no extra board swap.
Is every model 120Hz?
No. 120Hz ProMotion is on the five Pro Max SKUs (iPhone 13/14/15/16/17 Pro Max). Standard, Plus and Pro SKUs run at 60Hz.
How is this different from a regular HX/DD screen?
Regular HX/DD soft OLED lets the IC be removed or transferred. Diagnostic units are tuned to run diagnostics out of the box with no IC transfer required , which saves bench time but means the IC is not a removable service part.
What brightness and color can I expect?
850–1000 nits, 6500–7500 K, 1.10 saturation and 1:1,000,000 contrast — a vivid, premium look for flagship repairs.
